Absorbable Surgical Suture
Indications
Suitable for skin, muscle, and peritoneal tissue closure where absorbable sutures are indicated.
Composition
The product consists of a suture and a needle. The suture features barbs and is available in bidirectional and unidirectional configurations based on the barb orientation. The suture is made of poly(p-dioxanone) material and contains D&C Violet #2 dye. The needle is manufactured from 302 stainless steel and coated with silicone oil.
