In accordance with the decision documented in Document No. 87 [2024] of the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, awards are granted to scientific and technological personnel and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the scientific and technological progress as well as the economic and social development of Jiangsu Province. The project “Key Technologies and Applications for the Controllable Forming of Fabric-Based Human Repair Medical Mesh Materials,” in which Contina participated, was awarded the Third Prize of the 2023 Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award, along with a monetary prize.

It primarily recognizes scientific and technological projects that have achieved significant economic or social benefits in areas such as technological inventions, technological development, major engineering construction, transformation and promotion of scientific and technological achievements, high-tech industrialization, and public welfare. The selection process is rigorous and highly competitive, making the award highly prestigious. It plays a major role in promoting high-quality development, accelerating self-reliance in science and technology, and building a more robust and self-controllable modern industrial system.
